Russell & Amber Giveans

Once a month after The Fifth Service (8:30pm - midnight)

Russell and Amber were married in 2006 and have been members of Living Word ever since. They have served in Driven Senior High as 242 leaders for over 6 years now and have a heart for mentoring the next generation! They have also volunteered as assistant leaders for Living Word's Pre-Marriage classes under Pastor Mark Lillo. Russell has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, as well as a doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota (Ph.D. in Biomechanics), and now owns a medical research consulting company and Sports Biomechanics Lab. Amber has a degree in Dental Hygiene, and was a Hygienist for 9 years. She is now a full-time, stay-at-home mom with their son Izaiah (born January 2013).

Our cell group is geared towards the 18-25 year-old college-age crowd, and is a perfect way to connect with other believers who are of the same age and in the same phase of life! With over 12 years of college experience between them both, Russell and Amber know what it takes to stay rooted and grounded in the Word of God during these formative years and be a light to those around you!

Nicholas and I have been married 5 years and have a daughter, Kaitlynne, who is 1 year old. I, Jacqueline, work from home at our little hobby farm and Nicholas is an account manager for Renovation Systems. We both love the great outdoors and like to go camping, hiking, kayaking, and hunting. We also enjoy traveling, summer barbecues and picnics, sharing coffee or dinner with friends, reading, playing games, and playing sports.

Marriage is a gift from God. Falling in love and marrying your best friend is wonderful beyond words. In marriage God designed us to grow together, deepen our relationship with him, and have friends.
